The signal and power connector is a seven position detachable
terminal block. The connections should be made as shown on the
wiring diagram before power is applied. ST optical connectors are
standard on the unit.

Power required is 12VDC @ 200mA maximum. Internal regulators
are included so unregulated 12 volt power may be used. The case
of the unit is connected to signal ground.

There are no controls on the MX-485-2 and three indicators. The ON
indicator will glow green when power is applied to the unit. The TX
