SAP

Device Types
As a gold-level member of the SAP Printer Vendor Program, Sharp ensures
compatibility of MFPs and printers with SAP solutions through updated SAP
Device Types. SAP device types are les that store printer information so that
users can seamlessly access printer features such as paper tray selections,
orientation, and duplex options directory from SAP.
AS/400 Support
Sharp MFPs support printing from AS/400 through LPR (Line Printer Remote) printing or third party IPDS
(Intelligent Print Data Stream) applications.
HP Output Server Support
Select Sharp MFPs are HP Output Server-certied, enabling IT managers to centrally
control and manage print jobs, destinations and queues as well as easily create user and
group privileges and preferences. With the ability to monitor print jobs on Sharp MFPs from
the same consoles as other key IT resources, administrators can be alerted to potential
problems and respond before productivity is impacted, minimizing costly downtime.
