At Sharp we take document security extremely seriously. That’s why we’ve

incorporated several additional features to protect your data and documents from

unauthorised access, including two-way data security. All requests for access to the

Sharp AR-M550 are filtered and checked for permission and unauthorised attempts are

automatically blocked. Data stored on the hard disk is encrypted to give a second level

of security and it can be securely overwritten to prevent even the most determined

hacking attempts. What’s more, the AR-M550 comes with a PIN-controlled job

accounting function for improved cost control without compromising security.
