Image Editing Functions

The AR-C172M includes colourful editing functions made possible

by digital technology.

Multi-Page Enlargement divides an image onto separate sheets, allowing

you to make poster-like copies up to A0 x 2 (44" x 68") in size.

Image Repeat places multiples copies of an image onto a single sheet.

Mirror Image makes a reverse image of the original — ideal for printing on

transfer paper to make T-shirt iron-ons and stickers.

operating systems, such as Windows

and Macintosh*.

• Thanks to the embedded Network Interface, the AR-C172M

works as a powerful and versatile workgroup printer. You can

extend the power of the AR-C172M to your entire office

network. It also supports 100Base-TX and 10Base-T Ethernet

standards and TCP/IP and IPX/SPX protocols. And by adding the

optional AR-PK4 PS3 Expansion Kit, the AR-C172M supports

AppleTalk and allows PostScript printing in the Macintosh OS.

Job Queuing with Hard Disk

When the AR-C172M is in the process of printing, the Job

Queuing function can accept up to 20 print jobs from PCs on

your office network and store them on the hard disk. The Job

Status Window displays the jobs in order on the LCD so you can

easily check the status of your

job in the queue.

(The Job Status Window can also

display up to 99 jobs on hold for

other jobs [copy, scan, fax, etc.])

Versatile Paper Handling

The AR-C172M accommodates a wide range of paper sizes, from

A6R (5

" x 8

") to A3 wide (12" x 18"). You can do A3 or

11" x 17" full-bleed printing onto A3-wide (12" x 18") paper,

without loss of image area. And thanks to its tandem printing

method, it can handle heavy paper stock up to 300 g/m

overhead transparencies, and other types of paper, further

expanding the range of printing applications. Save time and

money by creating packages, POP displays, and other promotional

materials in-house.

Convenient Copy/Print Functions

The AR-C172M provides a number of cost- and labour-saving

features. The Multi-Shot copying and N-up printing functions

can place multiple pages onto a single

sheet. Pamphlet Style* copies (or prints

out) onto both sides of the paper in proper

page order for making booklets easily,

while Cover Insertion automatically

inserts a coversheet into your copy or print

job, eliminating manual labour.
