cableto input"L" of your TV orVCR.
• Youcanuse an S-VIDEOcable to obtainbetterqualityofpicturesifyou havea S-VIDEOconnectoron yourTV.
• Whileplayingbackon a TV screen,closethe LCDpanel.Otherwise,picturedistortionmay occur.

Usethe TV/VIDEObuttonto selectVIDEOon yourTV.
Connectpowersource(batteryor AC PowerAdapter)to the camcorder.
Setthe powerswitchto PLAYERmode.
Inserta tape youwantto see.
• Makesure thatSTOP isdisplayed.
Pressthe I_11(PLAY/STILL)button.
• The pictureyourecordedappearson theTV after2 to 3 seconds.
• Press• (STOP)to stopplaying.
• If thetape reachesits end duringplayback,thetape will rewindautomatically.
Notes:
Vibrationfromthe built-inspeakercan causepicturedistortion.
It is besttoturnthebuilt-inspeakeroffwhen yourcamcorderisconnectedto the -IV.
The system(Hi8/8mm)is selectedautomatically,dependingon the tapeformat.
Thiscamcarderdoesnot supportLPrecordingand playback.
